PHASE 1: “Through an endless rotation, the path breaks into two distinctive dimensions.” The goal is to explore the theme of rotation, contraction, and compression. In Phase 1, the shapes transform from an irregular form to a circle, achieved through the integration of specific elements and spatial techniques.
PHASE 2: Phase 2 connects the shapes through the use of wood sticks and topography. These elements actively illustrate the distinct themes set for the next phase, creating a bridge between ideas.
PHASE 3: In this phase, the iteration focuses on integrating two living dimensions within one environment. The rotational stairs and balloon element are inspired by the wood sticks from the previous stage, embodying the tension between compression and contraction. This phase allows users to experience two types of living spaces in the same environment.
PHASE 4: To further distinguish the two living spaces, different materials are employed to separate the areas. A combination of foam, clear plastic wrap, and cotton illustrates the theme of contraction vs. compression, particularly in response to the materials used in the stairs.
