OVERVIEW: The objective of this project was to create a site plan, section, and elevation cut for an object—in this case, a “lipstick”—at three different scales: 10”x10”, 5”x5”, and 1”x1”. I incorporated the theme of “balance” to demonstrate how the lipstick could rest at an angle on a stacked cardboard box cover.
In this process, I used different line weights to distinguish the stacked cardboard boxes. Additionally, I experimented with cutting specific sections to showcase the lipstick balancing at an angle. This concept is illustrated in the 5”x5” elevation cut and the 1”x1” section cut diagram.

OVERLAPPING DRAWINGS:
The final phase of the project involved overlaying three diagrams from the previous phase to create something new. I incorporated the 10”x10” site plan, the 5”x5” section plan, and the 1”x1” site plan because of the geometric possibilities they provided.
The first abstract drawing represents an interior plan of a museum with various sections and dividers. The other two diagrams depict the layout of buildings in an exterior setting.
